Restoration Advisory Board meets to discuss environmental issues
NATICK, Mass. – The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in the Recreation Center (former Officer’s Club).
The meeting will open with a review of the minutes from the November 2004 meeting and continue with a period for general comments. The topics scheduled are Draft Removal Action Work Plan for Buildings T-2 & T-68; Draft Removal Action Work Plan for Building 14 and Former Building 13; and FY-2006 Site Ranking Briefing. A public comment period is the last scheduled topic on the agenda.
The RAB plays an active role in the Soldier Systems Center’s environmental efforts by reviewing technical reports and aiding in the development of cleanup strategies.
RAB membership is composed of local citizens, Army personnel, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
The meeting is open to the public.
