389th Army Band to perform at Natick Common

NATICK, Mass. -- The Town of Natick and the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center are partnering to bring the 389th Army Band to the Natick Common to perform a free concert for the community. The concert will take place Friday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Band members have traveled the globe to entertain service members. They have also performed at civilian events in many communities. The band performs a variety of music to include show tunes, rock, blues, Latin and patriotic.

This unit is based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and represents the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC). The band is commonly referred to as “AMC’s Own.”

Those attending are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
