NATICK, Mass. - A Change of Responsibility Ceremony will be held in Hunter Auditorium on August 6 at 10 a.m at the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center, known locally as the Natick Labs.
During the ceremony, Col. (Promotable) James Lewis Kennon will become the new deputy for acquisition and readiness for the U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command and post commander for the Soldier Systems Center.
He will succeed Brig. Gen. Philip M. Mattox, who will be retiring from military service after 30 years.
Kennon is currently the Chief of Staff for the Combined Arms Support Command at Fort Lee, Va.
