Restoration Advisory Board meets to discuss environmental issues
NATICK, Mass. - The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick) has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Community Club, formerly known as the Officers Club.
The meeting will open with a review of the minutes from September's meeting and continue with a time for general comments. Next, the Boiler Plant Release Abatement Completion will be covered, along with an update on Tier III progress. There will then be a period for public comment.
The RAB plays an active role in the Soldier Systems Center's environmental efforts in restoring the Superfund sites by reviewing technical reports and aiding in the development of cleanup strategies. RAB membership is composed of local citizens, Army personnel, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
Natick is part of the U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command (SBCCOM). For more information about SBCCOM or the Soldier Systems Center (Natick), please visit our web site at http://www.sbccom.army.mil.
