Natick, Mass. - The U.S. Army's Natick Soldier Center will host the International Interactive Textiles for the Warrior conference on July 9-11 at the Boston Marriott in Cambridge, Mass.
Showing interactive textile technology's likely significance to the soldier system now and in the future, describing the Army's vision of future battlefield and warrior needs, influencing the establishment of soldier-related science and technology efforts in interactive textiles, and encouraging international cooperative agreements in interactive textiles are among the two-and-a-half day conference's objectives.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Program Executive Office - Soldier (PEO-Soldier), NASA and Army Research Laboratory's Army Research Office are the co-sponsors.
