NATICK, Mass. - The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. The group will meet in the front of the Administration Building to tour new production well sites. A visit to the Treatability Study Building is also planned. After the tour, the RAB will reconvene at the Recreation Center to continue with their regular meeting at 7 p.m.
The regular meeting will open with a review of the minutes from the June meeting and continue with a period for general comments. Topics on the agenda include the discussion of letter report dated July 18, 2002, "Natick Tier III Fish Data - Human Health Screen Comparisons" and a briefing concerning the draft work plan for remedial investigation of buildings 13 and 14. A public comment period is the last scheduled topic on the agenda.
The RAB plays an active role in the Soldier Systems Center's environmental efforts by reviewing technical reports and aiding in the development of cleanup strategies.
RAB membership is composed of local citizens, Army personnel, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
The meeting is open to the public.
