Restoration Advisory Board meets to discuss environmental issues

NATICK, Mass. - The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in the Recreation Center (former Officer’s Club).

The meeting will open with a review of the minutes from the October 2004 meeting and continue with a period for general comments. The topic scheduled is Draft Technical Memorandum on Fish Consumption Human Health Risk Management, followed by a period for public comment.

The RAB plays an active role in the Soldier Systems Center’s environmental efforts by reviewing technical reports and aiding in the development of cleanup strategies.

RAB membership is composed of local citizens, Army personnel, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

The meeting is open to the public.
