Spanish-language broadcaster for Red Sox to speak at U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center

NATICK, Mass. --- Media are invited to hear Uri Berenguer-Ramos, the Spanish-language broadcaster for the Boston Red Sox and a cancer survivor, speak at the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center (SSC), known locally as the Natick Labs, on September 18 at 1 p.m. in Hunter Auditorium.

Berenguer-Ramos will be speaking as part of SSC’s Hispanic Heritage month activities.

Berenguer-Ramos emigrated from Panama to the United States. He is now cancer-free following many years of treatment at Dana Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic, where he donates much of his time cheering up young cancer patients.

Berenguer-Ramos is known for his warm personality, compassion, and his ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
