Restoration Advisory Board meets to discuss environmental issues
NATICK, Mass. The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Conference Center (between Buildings 3 and 4).
The meeting will open with a review of the minutes from the April 2006 meeting and continue with a period for general comments. The topics scheduled are Federal Facilities Agreement, Remedial Optimization Study in the T-25 Area Status Update, and Proposed Groundwater Remediation ESD Status Update. A public comment period will follow.
The RAB plays an active role in the Soldier Systems Centers environmental efforts by reviewing technical reports and aiding in the development of cleanup strategies.
RAB membership is composed of local citizens, Army personnel, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
The meeting is open to the public.
