Restoration Advisory Board meets to discuss environmental issues
NATICK, Mass. - The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center (SSC) has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Conference Center (between buildings 3 and 4).
The meetings will open with a review of the minutes from the September 2006 meeting and continue with a period for general comments. The topics scheduled are Draft Feasibility Study Work Plan for SSC Sediment, and Draft
Proposed Plan for Former Proposed Gymnasium Site and Buildings T-62 and T-68. A public comment period will follow.
The RAB plays an active role in the Soldier Systems Center's environmental efforts by reviewing technical reports and aiding in the development of cleanup strategies.
RAB membership is comprised of local citizens, Army personnel, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
The meeting is open to the public.
