Chief Counsel receives AMC award
NATICK, Mass. --
John Stone, chief counsel, U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center and U.S.
Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center
here is the recipient of the U.S. Army Materiel Command's (AMC)
Joyce I. Allen Attorney of the Year Award for 2008.
Robert Parise, command counsel chief, AMC, presented Stone with the
award July 10 during the AMC Continuing Legal Education Program
Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Each year, the award is given to a civilian or military attorney or
patent advisor for outstanding accomplishments or professional
achievements in the service of the legal profession and the
community. The award commemorates Joyce I. Allen, who was an
attorney for AMC.
Stone's certificate reads, "For over 28 years, he consistently
demonstrated an uncanny depth of knowledge across broad practice
