Restoration Advisory Board meets to discuss environmental issues

 

NATICK, Mass. - The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center (SSC) has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, May 19 at 7 p.m. in the Lord Community Activities Center (Recreation Center).

The meeting will open with a review of the minutes from the June 2008 meeting and continue with a period for general comments.

The topic scheduled is Proposed Plan for Sediment. A public comment period will follow.

The RAB plays an active role in the Soldier Systems Center's environmental efforts by reviewing technical reports and aiding in the development of cleanup strategies.

RAB membership is comprised of local citizens, Army personnel, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

The meeting is open to the public.

All entrance requirements remain the same. All vehicles will be searched. Photo identification will be required.
